Both the dental assistant and dentist were friendly and made an effort to make sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. Dr. Anderson texted me after my appointment to follow up with an issue that came up during my visit. the entire staff makes you feel like family. I could not ask for a better place to have my dental needs taken care of.

More than any other holiday, Halloween is associated with candy. As your dentist, we don’t love this. However, we also don’t think you should have to avoid special treats entirely. When you make better candy choices, it goes a long way toward maintaining good dental health.
Luckily, that’s not too hard. This short video reviews some especially bad candy choices and some better ones. The video addresses it from a nutritional view. But the candy that is better for your body is also better for your teeth.
Chocolate is your best bet. It melts fast in your mouth, so it washes away from tooth enamel before it can cause damage. In contrast, sticky treats like gummies, taffy, and Airheads tend to linger on teeth. This makes you more prone to cavities and other problems. Some of the worst treats are anything labeled “sour.” They have high concentrations of both sugar and acid, which make them especially hard on teeth.
Of course, you also need to brush and floss every day to keep your smile in great shape. And visit our office every six months for a professional cleaning and exam.
