With over 50 years of dedicated service, Dr. Steven Anderson has been a cornerstone of dental care in Grand Island, NE. His commitment to staying ahead of the latest dental procedures and technologies, coupled with his extensive experience, ensures expert care for even the most complex cases.
Dr. Anderson’s approach to dentistry prioritizes patient comfort. He has created a relaxed atmosphere that puts even the most anxious patients at ease. His gentle technique and efficient practices have earned him a reputation for providing comfortable, high-quality dental care for patients of all ages.
Born in Wyoming, Dr. Anderson quickly became a proud Nebraskan. After graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Dentistry in 1969, he briefly practiced in Battle Creek before making Grand Island his permanent home.

He is especially proud of his work with America’s Dentists Care Foundation. He is a founding member of the organization, which was founded in 2008. He served as its president for two years. The organization supplies resources for Mission of Mercy, which provides services for those who cannot afford dental care. Dr. Anderson co-chaired the second annual Nebraska Dental Association’s Mission of Mercy event, resulting in over $640,000 in free dental care.
Dr. Anderson’s love for Grand Island is evident in his words and actions. He has been an active community leader, serving on various boards including Riverside Golf Club (past president), the Stuhr Museum, Grand Island Music Series, and Grand Island Partnership for the Arts (founder and current president). He was co-chair of the 2008 United Way Campaign and a Team Mates Mentor volunteer.
He has been honored for his community service with several awards:

Dr. Anderson is married with two wonderful children: daughter Arica McNutt and son Aric Anderson. He and his wife, Charla, enjoy visiting family, entertaining at home, and the good natured company of their two dogs. Dr. Anderson also loves woodworking, hunting, and travel to Wyoming and Mexico.
